DL Tree Service, LLC (“DL Tree Service,” “we,” “us”) runs this website to tell you about our tree services and to let you ask us for an estimate. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it in plain English on purpose.
We collect what you send us on our estimate form so we can quote and schedule your job, plus basic analytics about how people use the site. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers that help us run the business.

You choose what to send. If you call or text us at (440) 636-2276 instead, we will have your phone number and whatever you tell us. We use this information to respond to you, prepare an estimate, schedule the work, and follow up about your job.
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site you came from. Our web host also keeps standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages get read, which services people look at, whether visitors are on a phone or a computer. This is reported to us in aggregate. It helps us fix what is not working and write about what people actually want to know. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. You can opt out across all sites using Google’s browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings.

Estimate requests are kept as long as we need them for the job and for our business records — typically a few years, so we can look up past work on a property. Analytics data is retained on Google’s standard schedule. If you want us to delete your information, ask and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. That said, no website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. Please do not send us sensitive information such as financial account or Social Security numbers through this website — we never need them to quote a tree job.
This site is meant for adults hiring a tree service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will make that clear.
