Stump grinding uses a specialized machine and a professional operator to remove the stump and its roots 8 to 20 inches below grade. It’s not always required, but it’s usually a good idea. In many cases, logs are taken to local mills to be turned into furniture or other things. Branches and smaller logs are chipped and usually turned into mulch (ask us about FREE wood chips), and smaller-diameter logs can be turned into firewood – we heat our shop with firewood.

Not if we can help it. When the ground is soft or the job calls for it, we lay down ground protection mats that spread the weight of our equipment and keep it off your turf. It lets us get the big machines to the work area and still leave your lawn looking nice.
