We clear selectively by default. Before anything starts, we walk the property with you and mark what stays — mature hardwoods, a tree line for privacy, anything you want kept. Taking out the dead, hazardous, and unwanted growth while leaving the good trees standing almost always ends up with a better property than a scraped lot.
It depends on the site and what you want. Brush and small growth can be mulched in place, which leaves a protective layer instead of a debris pile and skips the hauling entirely. Larger trees get processed and hauled, and stumps in the areas you plan to use get ground out. We’ll lay out the options with the estimate.
Density, terrain, wet ground, and how much has to be hauled off drive the timeline far more than raw acreage does. An overgrown fence line is a different job from a wooded building site with mature trees on it. We walk the property, tell you what we’re up against, and give you a real window rather than a number over the phone.
Know your property lines before anyone starts cutting — clearing across a boundary is an expensive mistake, and a survey is cheap insurance if the pins aren’t obvious.
